Reading Month 2016

The Ti Rocher Football Club Read to Students
The Ti Rocher Football Club (TFC) did its part in celebrating Reading Month, as they visited the Ti Rocher Micoud Combined School on Friday May 20, 2016. The club has tried its best to engage in community work and saw Reading Month as a perfect opportunity to give back to the community.

With the school being the alma mater of most of the club’s members, eight TFC players were assigned to a classroom and were given the privilege of reading to the students and interacting with them. After their reading session, the students were questioned on the story and small tokens were given to those who were able to answer correctly.

Principal of the Ti Rocher Micoud Combined School, Mrs. Germana Lubin Burke, was very appreciative of the venture undertaken by TFC and presented a certificate of appreciation to the team.
